LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A late night disturbance call east of La Follette resulted in one person going to jail on Memorial Day.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Sgt. Joshua Jeffers was dispatched to 141 Stonecrest Lane, just off Old Middlesboro Highway, May 31 just after 9pm about a possible disturbance.

At the back door of the home, Jeffers came in contact with 35-year- old Sean Scott Brooks. Deputy Jeff Allen ran a routine warrant check through the Campbell County Jail which revealed that Brooks had an outstanding warrant out of general sessions court.

Brooks, of 141 Stonecrest Lane, was arrested and transported to the county jail. According to jail records, Brooks is unemployed and was arrested for the 13th time. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/08/2021-6AM)
