JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – On routine patrol, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Weaver stopped a 2006 Nissan Altima on I-75 at the Jellico exit.

Weaver said the reason for the pullover was for a violation of the muffler law. On June 2, around 8:30 pm, the deputy came in contact with the driver of the car, 53-year- old Earnest Branam of Caryville.

During the stop, Weaver learned that Branam had a violation of probation warrant out for his arrest. Branam was arrested and transported to the Campbell County Jail at Jacksboro. He faces a charge of violation of probation. According to jail records, this was Branam’s 10th arrest. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/14/2021-6AM)
