Kenneth Gene Chadwell, age 86 of LaFollette passed away on Friday June 18, 2021. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Kenneth was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division and enjoyed attending the annual airborne convention with Carolyn. Mr. Chadwell enjoyed fishing, telling stories, world traveler, avid reader, especially military history, member of Keystone Masonic Lodge, where he  rose in Rank of Past Master of the Masonic Lodge, he loved festivals, spending time with his family, especially his children, the Ford family, being a shriner and he was especially proud of earning his private pilot license.

Preceded in death by; parents Henry and Edna Thomas Chadwell, son Kenneth Troy Chadwell, grandson Kenneth Troy Chadwell Jr.,  brothers Henry Chadwell Jr., Charles Chadwell, Donnie Chadwell and Billy Chadwell, previous wife Wanda Jean Chadwell.

Survived by; wife Carolyn Chadwell, daughters Sherry Dickerson, Pamela White, Linda Wade and husband Willie,  Brenda Hatfield, Deborah Durham and husband Alan, Carol Honeycutt and husband Phil, Hester Muse and husband Darrell, sons; Robert Lay and wife Rhonda and Paul Andrew Lay, sister Jewell Leach husband James, brother Ronnie Chadwell, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday June 20, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00 with Rev. James Leach officiating. Interment will be at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home, Washington Park East in Indianapolis, Indiana
