LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A La Follette man, wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Anderson County, was arrested by Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Courtney Charles. Charles took the wanted man into custody early last Tuesday morning at his east Campbell County home near Norris Lake.

It was in the 1:00am hour on June 15 when Charles arrested 31-year old Landon Steven Bryant, who stands seven-feet tall,

Bryant, of 147 Moonbow Drive, is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, failure to maintain single lane and DUI (driving under the influence) according to the narrative from the sheriff’s office.

Bryant was transported to the Campbell County Jail. Later in the day on June 15, he was transported to the Anderson County Jail. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/22/2021-6AM)

  1. Wow!! Well done Deputy Charles that will be an arrest that I am sure she will never forget. Arresting a 7 ft tall man could have easily turned dangerous. Congratulations on a safe arrest.
