LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The City of La Follette Regional Planning Commission has a scheduled public hearing set for Thursday, June 24, at 4:30pm at City Hall prior to the commission’s regular monthly meeting. The purpose of the hearing is for approval for rezoning lots from residential to commercial within the city limits.

On the planning commission agenda is the topic of a subdivision plat for a two lot division at the intersection of West Hill Street and South Avenue at Hawthorne Drive. The property is located in an R-2 High Density District.

The Board of Zoning Appeals Agenda follows the regular planning commission meeting, and Airbnb rentals top the agenda with three seeking approval. Related story.
