JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – On Pine Mountain Road, that runs from Johnson Hollow to and along I-75 in northern Campbell County, is where two people were recently reported to have been assaulted, injured and taken to the hospital.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Weaver arrested four people, including two young women and likely two juveniles, on assault charges in the 1am hour of Monday, June 14.

Weaver outlines in his arrest narrative that he made contact with the two people who were assaulted on Pine Mountain Road at the very early hour of the morning. Both appeared to have blunt force trauma to the head and face and were treated at the La Follette Medical Center according to Weaver’s account. Weaver was even shown a video of the fight that one of the suspects provided.

Two of the adults allegedly involved in the altercation, 19-year old Kayla Ann Anderson of Newcomb and 21-year old Anna Renee Anderson of Williamsburg, were arrested and charged with assault. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/23/2021-6AM)
