Rev. William L. Hill, age 67 of Jacksboro, passed away Friday, June 25,2021.  Rev. Hill was a retired Minister with the United Methodist Church for over 30 years, and currently a member of Jacksboro United Methodist Church.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, attended Tennessee Wesleyan College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree and Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky where he received his Master’s Degree.  Preceded in death by loving Wife, Erma Hill in 2016, and Father, William Hill.

Survivors:  Sons, Christopher Scott Hill, Skyler Wesley Hill and wife, Rebecca; Grandchildren, Mayalou Hill and Maxwell Hill; Mother, Katherine Hill; Siblings, Kathy Critchfield and husband, Steve, Jim Hill and wife, Ronnie, Phil Hill, Jenny Roach and husband, Jim, and Judy Lornenze. Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, other relatives and friends.    

Funeral Services Monday, June 28, 2021, 7:00 P.M. at Jacksboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Grant and Rev. Keith Hampson officiating.  The Family will receive friends on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 29, 2021, 10:00 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens for 10:30 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment.

  1. Mr. Hill was gentleman that was a steady customer at Premier Cleaners. We always had great conversations and he always told me to have a great day and God bless. He will definitely be missed here by me and Beth. His family is in my prayers. R.I.P.
