CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – When police responded to the call of a truck blocking a driveway, they found two men passed out in the cab on Patty Hill Road according to a report from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department.

Caryville Police Sergeant Corey Laxton was the first officer on the scene on Monday night at 8:47pm (June 21). Sheriff’s Deputy Timothy Powers arrived and checked on active warrants for the men in the truck.

Based on the deputy’s narrative, Powers placed 36-year old James Clifton Ivey of Cherry Bottom Road under arrest for a violation of probation out of criminal court. Based on jail records, this was Ivey’s ninth arrest , and he remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/30/2021-6AM)
