Two vehicles collided on Saturday afternoon on the four lane at Hunters Branch Road.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Hunters Branch at the Gold Star Apartments on the four lane was once again the site of a wreck.

One person was injured in this wreck.
Air bags deployed in both vehicles.

In the 3pm hour Saturday afternoon, an SUV and a four door sedan collided with air bags deploying in both vehicles. La Follette Police and Fire responded along with the Campbell County EMS with one patient being taken to the hospital.

Traffic was one lane coming into La Follette while Jacksboro-bound travelers were detoured down Old Jacksboro Highway. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/17/2021-4:15PM)

  1. There needs to be a traffic light installed at this intersection. I wonder if the state has ever done a study to determine the feasibility of this or if there is anything we citizens can do to get the ball rolling on this? Jim, do you have any idea?

      Yes, I do have an idea; one the majority of those who regularly travel Hunters Branch Road will hate me for – make it a one-way road.
