Last week, a Campbell County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Zecchini not only with second degree murder but tampering with evidence as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Officers along Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents investigated the crime that occurred in the 200 block of Brick Plant Lane in Newcomb. When authorities responded to the call they found Booth dead inside a camper, according to police.

The investigation led authorities to charge Zecchini in Booth’s death.

He is scheduled for arraignment in criminal court on Aug. 2. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 07/19/2021 6AM)
