DUFF, TN (WLAF) – A Duff woman allegedly confessed she’d taken meth the day before being pulled over by a Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Last week Deputy Preston Mullins, was patrolling Highway 25W north through Duff when he saw 48-year- old Sandra Dean Osborne of White Oak Road driving a Toyota Highlander, and she was swerving from the yellow center line to the white fog line, according to the sheriff’s department report.

Mullins pulled the Toyota over and spoke with Osborne describing her as lethargic and that her pupils were constricted. When asked if she had taken any medication prior to driving, Osborne allegedly told Mullins she had taken meth the day before.

Osborne performed poorly on a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest based on the report. She was charged with failure to maintain lane and DUI (driving under the influence). (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/21/2021-6AM)
