SPEEDWELL, TN (WLAF) – A traffic stop in Claiborne County resulted in a prisoner for Campbell County. The Claiborne Deputy ran a check on 57-year- old Jefferson McDonald and discovered that he was wanted out of Campbell on a capias/bench warrant.

McDonald, of Speedwell, was arrested by the Claiborne officer, and the deputies met up at the county line to complete the transaction of McDonald being taken into custody by Campbell Deputy Walter Harmon. McDonald was then transported by Deputy Harmon to the Campbell County Jail.
