Betty Allen, age 85, of Caryville passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.  She was a member of Duff Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents Mike Ward and Gertie Overton Ward, Sister: Thelma Brown, Brothers: Billy Ward, Chuck Ward, John L. Ward.

Survivors:

Husband: Donald Allen

Daughters: Donna and Danny Wilbanks, Debbie and Lendin Shelton, Deanna and John Tallent

Sisters: Alma Byrd and Lois Gibson

Brothers:  Luther Ward and Fred Ward

Grandchildren:  Misty, Jason, Amy, Felicity, Fallon, Justin, Joy and Jennifer

Several nieces and nephews

Special Friends: Jean Evans, Sandra Lay, Frankie Boshears, JoAnn Parks

Family will receive friends Sunday, July 25, 5-7 PM with funeral services to follow at Cross-Smith Chapel.  Rev. Fred Ward and Rev. Don Whited officiating.  Family and friends will meet 10 AM, Monday, July 26 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Jacksboro Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
