JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Sheriff’s Department Back-to-School Supply Giveaway is this Saturday, Aug. 21 from 9 am to 1 pm at Jacksboro Middle School and 2 pm to 6 pm at Veteran’s Park in Jellico. All you need to do is drive through one of the locations for free school supplies.

Sheriff Robbie Goins and his staff collected donations in a two day school supply drive held last month to purchase supplies for students. The sheriff’s department staff assembled bags that include notebooks, paper, folders, binders, pencils, erasers, crayons, glue and more to help provide students with school supplies.

Any left over supplies after this weekend will be distributed equally among the schools. According to Sheriff Goins, the school supply drive is one of his favorite community projects. He also sends a “big thank you to all who donated to the school supply giveaway.”

The annual event is sponsored by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/17/2021-6AM)
