LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A woman flagged down Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Fox on Sunday around 10 pm at Fincastle Church God reporting that someone had stolen her phone. She told Fox she and her boyfriend had gotten into an altercation with Jason Blake Ivey and two other men behind Goodwill the night prior.  The woman continued that during the altercation her phone got dropped and she saw Ivey pick it up and leave with the other two men.

The woman reported that she had been in contact with one of the males who alleged Ivey had thrown the phone out of the vehicle into the woods, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

Fox went to Janeway Lane in Jacksboro to speak with Ivey who allegedly admitted to taking the phone and throwing it out the window to get rid of it. He also stated that he was unable to locate the phone.

Ivey, 19, 154 Crowley Circle, Jacksboro is charged with theft of property under $999.99 and vandalism. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/13/2021-6AM)
