Campbell doesn’t let forgettable first half determine final outcome

That was two guys making great plays,” added Price.

On the TCAT Cougar Wrap Up Show, the Voice of the Cougars, Les Martin, asked Jones “Was that a true one handed catch out there?” “It actually was. I didn’t even see the ball first. I saw a kid on me, and I put my right hand down and my left hand out. I closed my eyes, and I caught it. Then I said to myself, I guess I gotta run now,” said Jones.

The score gave Campbell its first lead since it was 7-6. With the Cougars ahead 21-18, Central came back for its last lead of the night at 24-21. From there, Campbell scored 21 unanswered points for the 42 to 24 victory.

“We came out in the second half and played at a level where we know we can. We weren’t defined by what was happening in the first half,” said Price.
