JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The new Campbell County Cougar football field will be christened tonight when the Cougars host Heritage in a 7:30pm game. Additionally, the new turf will be named in honor of Jack Reynolds in a 7pm ceremony when the name officially becomes John T. Reynolds Field.
The 91-year old Reynolds of Peoples Bank of the South, family and friends will be on hand at mid-field for the pregame ceremony.
Campbell (1 & 0) will host the Heritage Mountaineers (0 & 1) in a non-region game. Campbell opened its schedule a week ago at Chattanooga with a 42-24 win while Heritage fell at home to Maryville by a score of 49-0.
