Betty Mae Foust, age 75 of Jellico, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her home. She was born on August 30, 1945, to the late Everett Simpson and Viva Stacy (Silcox) Simpson. She enjoyed watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel, eating, listening to gospel music, and taking care of everybody, she never met a stranger. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandbabies, who was her life.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her: daughter Anna Rigney; granddaughters Michella Marlow, Wendy Perkins, Christy Medford, and Brittany Foust; great grandchildren Brentley and Jayden Caddell; brothers Esco Simpson, J.R. Simpson, and Elbert Simpson; and sisters Vaughenette Daugherty and Joyce Claxton.

She is survived by her daughters Teresa Cross and husband Olen of Chickamauga, GA, Jeanetta Hurst and husband John of Williamsburg, KY, Angie Muse and husband Mike of Newcomb, and Honorary daughter Melinda Satterfield and husband Jesse of Williamsburg, KY; brothers Roger Simpson and wife Linda of Kentucky and Harold Dean Simpson and wife Paula of LaFollette; sisters Wilma Sue Elliott of LaFollette and Pearlie Fay Marlow of Lafollette; 11 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Martin Wilson Funeral home with Rev. Ashley Mew officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Allred Cemetery.
