JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee is expected to attend two ceremonies this afternoon in Campbell County. First, Lee will attend the ribbon cutting on TCAT’s new wing; its new manufacturing building at 3:15pm followed by a ground breaking ceremony at 4pm at the courthouse.

With the impending forecast for today’s ground breaking ceremony of the new additions to the Campbell County Courthouse, there is a high chance that the ceremony will be moved indoors to the lower courtroom. Preparations are being made for that.

The ceremony is being hosted by the Building and Grounds Committee County Commission.

At the end of the ceremony, County Commissioner Scott Stanfield will announce closing of the ceremony with a recess to resume normal committee operations at 5 pm. That meeting will be to address a $10,000 grant, with a $2,000 match for the district attorney’s office and any other business. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/31/2021-6AM)
