Geneva Bessie Riggs, age 98, departed this life on September 6, 2021. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed baking, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Riggs, parents, Ben and Grace Burger; sons, Edward and Jerry Riggs; brothers Blaine, Beecher, and Blake Burger; sisters, Beatrice Neloms, Pearl Milton, and Billa Jean Lawson.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Lough; sister, Mildred New, grandchildren, Michelle, Tony, Anita, Nicole, Dawn, Zach, and 2 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral Service to follow at 5 PM with Cordell Petz presiding. The family will meet at the funeral home on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for a 11 AM interment.
