LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – New highway grants are coming to Campbell County. “We continue to fund projects that improve safety to our roads and our residents of the great state of Tennessee. Our goal is to have not only the best, but the safest roads in the country,” said Rep. Dennis Powers, R-Jacksboro.

Here is the breakdown of grants for Campbell County:

*Campbell County Sheriff’s Department, Alcohol and Impaired Driving Enforcement, $ 40,090.00

*Caryville Police Department, High Visibility Enforcement, $ 5,000.00

*Jacksboro Police Department, High Visibility Enforcement, $ 4,998.00

*Jellico Police Department, High Visibility Enforcement, $ 5,000.00

*LaFollette Police Department, High Visibility Enforcement, $ 5,000.00

*Tennessee District Attorney General, 8th Judicial District, DUI Prosecution, $ 290,700.00, Campbell County
