LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A search warrant was executed at 131 Ginnie Lane, LaFollette, last Friday by the Campbell County Sherriff’s Department.  While searching the property, deputies found several items that led investigators to believe David Taylor and Amber Taylor were selling several types of narcotics from the home.

Inside the Taylor’s, bedroom deputies found a pill container box containing several types of narcotics, according to a report from the sheriff’s department. Items found in the box were a yellow bag containing a brown powdery substance, seven blue pills, six white capsules and two long stick like pills. Under the bed there was a container with a crystal like substance, a pill bottle labeled Oxymorphone that contained 35 white pills that were believed to be in the incorrect container. Also found were several small bags and plastic vials, one containing a crystal like substance, inside two of the bags was a white powder substance that tested positive for fentanyl. Several sets of digital scales and small bags were also found. According to the report, Amber Taylor allegedly admitted to selling Heroin from the home. While Amber was being booked into the jail, Sgt. Katie Wilson found a plastic vile with a crystal like substance inside on her.

David Lee Taylor, 39, 131 Ginnie Lane, LaFollette was charged with other, possession of schedule VI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule V controlled substance.

Amber Marie Taylor, 37, 131 Ginnie Lane, LaFollette was charged with intro contraband into penal institution, other, possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of prescription drug without prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule V controlled substance.

According to jail records, both of the Taylors are unemployed and have been arrested a combined total of 20 times, eight for David and a dozen for Amber. David is free on a $300,000 bond while Amber remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning on a $300,000 bond. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/17/2021-6AM)
