Mr. James D. “Pete” Sammons, age 59 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021.  He was a former construction worker, enjoyed woodworking, a member of LaFollette Rescue Squad, and was formerly employed with LaFollette Fire Department and Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.  Preceded in death by Parents, James Howard and Opal Louise Draughn Sammons, Brother, Paul Brian Sammons and Grandparents, Harvey and Arletta Draughn and Ruby Hutson. 

Survivors: Wife, Penny Price Sammons, Daughter, Adriana Weaver and husband, Thomas; Son, Trevor Daniel Sammons; Grandchildren, Everly Leada Ann Weaver and Kezmae Hazael Marie Weaver; Sisters, Joanne LaMonte and husband, Ron and Carol Jean McNeeley.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.  

The family has requested that all services for Pete be private.
