LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It was just after midnight last Thursday when a La Follette man was arrested in the Glade Springs community and charged with burglary and PI (public intoxication). Campbell County Sheriff’s Sgt. Joshua Jeffers was dispatched to Mynatt Lane in reference to a suspicious man standing in the road in front of a house.

When Jeffers arrived on the scene, he allegedly saw 24-year- old Alex Brandon Allen plundering through the glove box of a 2006 Honda ULX. Jeffers reports that Allen told him “my buddy Brian told me I could wait inside this car.” The sergeant observed that Allen was unstable on his feet and had slurred speech.

The owner of the car told Sergeant Jeffers that she did not know Allen. Jeffers noted in his report that the Honda was not damaged and that no items were taken from the car due to his arrival while the theft was in progress.

Allen is due in court on Thu., Oct. 28 at 1pm. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/23/2021-6AM)

  1. This is probably the same guy that was looking in our window. Threatened my husband and was stealing my son-in-law’s shoes. The officers couldn’t get him because he ran off.

  2. Looks to me like with this many arrests he would be considered a repeat offender and should be Shipped off to prison instead of being let back out on the street to commit more crimes. The judicial system is failing miserably.
