CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – It was a two-for-one arrest last Thursday when Campbell County Sheriff’s Officers conducted a routine traffic stop.

Captain John Long saw a black Chevrolet HHR roll through a stop sign on Mount Perkins Road at Appalachian Highway without coming to a complete stop.  The captain asked Deputy Jacob Jones to stop the HHR, and it was eventually pulled over near Cove Lake State Park.

It was learned that the driver of the compact sport utility vehicle and his passenger had a violation of probation out of criminal court.  Arrested was the driver, 28-year- old Zachary Adam Kitts of Starz Lane, Jacksboro, and the passenger, 29-year- old Robert Kyle Wilson of East Fourth Street, La Follette.

Kitts and Wilson remain housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning without bond.  Each man is due in court on Monday.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/29/2021-6AM)
