Brenda Baird, age 66 of Stinking Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Brenda was a wonderful woman who loved her family with everything in her. She had a very special place in her heart for her granddaughter Presley who was the light of her life. Brenda was a hard-working woman who in her spare time loved tending to her flowers and plants. She also loved to hunt for ginseng and arrowheads. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend that anyone could hope for, and she will forever be missed tremendously.

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother, Mae Jane; father, Albert Baird; brother, Bobby Joe Rose; and sister, Alberta Baird.

She is survived by her children; Melanie Teague and spouse Jimmy and Jessie Carrol and Buddy Ryan; grandchildren Shelby Teague, Preston Teague, Presley Ryan, Sidney Ryan, and Masen Ryan; great grandchildren Emerson Corder and Waverly Teague; special friend Jean Henson; brothers and sisters Catherine Rose, Hubert Rose, Phyllis Pagel, Jerry Baird, Twin sister Glenda Richards, Eddie Baird, William Baird, and Ida Smith; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family will hold a private service.

  1. Bren was a great Aunt too, she was the only person in my family other than my parents and brothers and a friend that would help with the reward for my brother Adam Baird. I will miss her so very much and I love her. she was beautiful inside and out .a remarkable woman
