The ladies at Ayers Auction and Real Estate kept everyone laughing as they auctioned off items for the 36th annual Chamber Pig Roast.  Codi Ayers-Provins shows off an item while sister Debra Ayers-Lawson takes a bid.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Weather was perfect and spirits were high at the 36th annual Campbell County Chamber Pig Roast held at Knobby Hill Farm Tuesday evening. The annual event is the chamber’s big fundraiser.  According to Chamber Director Missy Tackett, this year’s event went “wonderful” thanks to community support and attendance.

This year’s chamber Pig Roast set a record with 22 table sponsors, filling the venue at Knobby Hill Farm.

“We had an awesome chamber event committee that worked so hard on this,” Tackett said. She also extended a “huge thanks” to all chamber board members, chamber business members, chamber ambassadors and chamber partners, as well as table sponsors and everyone that helped with the event.

The Roberts Sisters provided entertainment at the chamber pig roast.

“I just can’t say thank you enough to everyone who made this possible,” Tackett said.

There were tons of fabulous live auction items donated by community businesses and individuals that helped raise funds for the evening. There was both a live and silent auction. The ladies from Ayers Auction kept the live auction portion of the evening lively and fun.

Music was provided by the Parrot Brothers and the Roberts Sisters, catering was by Stockyard BBQ and the evening closed with fireworks by Pyro Shows Inc.

The Parrot Brothers kept toes tapping at the chamber Pig Roast held at Knobby Hill Farm Tuesday evening.

“It couldn’t have gone better. We want to promote everything tourism in our area and we have such support from our community to do this; it’s wonderful,” Tackett said. 

Pyro Shows capped the perfect evening with an outstanding fireworks show.
