Betty Lou McHenry, age 88, of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021.  She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church and retired from Campbell County School System.  Preceded in death by husband Melvin Cloid McHenry, parents: Henry and Sarah Rutherford Cooper, sisters: Alice Lowe and Bonnie Lowe, brother: Ed Cooper.

Son: Mark and wife Renee McHenry

2 Granddaughters: Sara Elisha McHenry and Brandi Stowe and husband Rick

Sister: Lydia Davis

Several nieces and nephews

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Bryan Burge officiating.  Family and friends will meet 10:30 AM on Saturday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
