JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Undercover controlled drug buys led to a search warrant and arrest near a school in Jacksboro on Monday.

According to a Campbell County Sheriff’s Department press release, on October 25, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of William Blevins and Jamie Hembree at 131 Baird Ln. in Jacksboro.

One person was arrested with other arrests pending.

The search warrant was served after several controlled drug buys were made from the mobile home and the inhabitants. During the search of the residence, quantities of Scheduled I believed to be heroin, scheduled VI thought to be gabapentin, and schedule VI likely to be marijuana were found.  

The mobile home where drugs were being sold is less than 500 feet from Jacksboro Elementary School. 

During the search warrant, one arrest was made. Krystal Sweat was arrested for possession of scheduled I controlled substance.  

Investigators raided this mobile home on Monday morning.

According to the sheriff’s department, indictments are pending on the other occupants of the home. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/27/2021-3PM)
