LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – An alleged impaired driver was recently taken off the road by a La Follette Police Officer.

It was around 9pm on Monday Oct. 25 when Officer Zach Daugherty conducted a traffic stop on the four lane across the road from Hunter’s Branch Road.

Pulled over was 42-year- old Jennifer Elaine Overton of Scenic Drive, Jacksboro.

Overton was charged with DUI and drivers to exercise due care. This was Overton’s 10th arrest according to jail records. She’s due in court on Nov. 16. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/05/2021-6AM)
