MOLENA, GA (WLAF) – Campbell County High School JROTC students participated in the Raider National Championships competition over the weekend held in Molena, Georgia. Two teams from CCHS attended the event, both placing eighth overall in the competition and also ranking high nationally in the rope bridge construction and crossing.

Raider competitions are athletic competitions held at JROTC programs around the world. Events take place outdoors and usually consist of individual strength tests such as push-ups, tire drags, obstacle courses and more. There are also distance team running events and some form of rope bridge construction and crossing.

Raider Nationals is a three day annual event that brings together around 1,500 JROTC cadets of all skill levels from across the country to compete in what has become known as the largest Raider competition held anywhere in the world.
