LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – From small town Illinois to small town Tennessee, Stephanie Boone is right at home in La Follette. Or could it be large town La Follette? FNP Boone’s graduating class was comprised of a whopping 49 seniors. Regardless, Illinois’ loss is Cumberland Gap Medical’s gain.

The energetic smiling Boone welcomes you by to see her for your healthcare needs. Her practice covers the full spectrum from medication management to sniffles, sneezes and the flu to women’s health and pediatrics to helping you manage chronic illness. “I’ve discovered a real love for pediatrics, because I really enjoy interacting with the youngsters,” said Boone.

The LMU graduate splits her time between the La Follette Cumberland Gap Medical office and the office at Harrogate. She’s seeing patients at the corner of East Central and Cumberland Avenues in La Follette on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Her Harrogate days are Wednesday and Friday. One call to 423.201.9799 will get you scheduled at either La Follette or Harrogate, the Blaine office, too. Boone works at the Blaine clinic on occasion.

Stephanie Boone is the new Family Nurse Practitioner at Cumberland Gap Medical. Her husband Josh Boone is a professor at LMU.

“I’m excited to be at Cumberland Gap Medical. I applied on a Thursday, interviewed the next day and was hired on the spot,” added Boone. It’s become my dream job she points out, and Amanda and David Brown, the owners, are just the best.

She raves about her team at Cumberland Gap Medical. “Their support and warmth is unmatched, and they are so good with our patients. From answering the phone with a friendly hello to welcoming smiles when patients walk in, our team is so good,” said Boone.
