JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Remote Area Medical- RAM®, a major nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics delivering free, quality dental, vision and medical care to underserved and uninsured individual, was in Caryville the last weekend of August providing free care.

At this evening’s Campbell County Commission meeting, Commissioner Robert Higginbotham will recognize the local team that saw the RAM event through from start to finish. The team is comprised of Alyssa Jeffries, Claire Kast, Garrett Orick, Haley Snodgrass and Crystal Watkins.

Free dental, vision, and medical services were provided on a first-come, first-served basis. All-in-all, according to RAM officials, 152 patients were seen, and the total dollar amount of the free services came out to nearly $85,000. Related story. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/15/2021-6AM)
