Mrs. Donna E. Poteet, age 71 of LaFollette passed away Friday, November 19, 2021.  She was a devoted member of LaFollette First Baptist Church, and served her church wherever there was a need.  Donna was a former CFO of Riggs Drug in LaFollette.  She loved to travel, enjoyed arts and crafts, and working in her church.  Preceded in death by Husband, Gregg Harville, Parents, Clyde and Maxine Enix, Nephew, Clifford Moyers, and Former Mother-in-Law, Selma Harville. 

Survivors: Husband, Arnold Poteet, Children, Chad Fannon and Wife, Missy, Nick Harville, Donna Robinson and Husband, Michael, and Tony Poteet and Wife, Angie; Grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob Fannon, Dustin May and Wife, Amanda, Russell May, Chris Poteet and Wife, Ashley, and Corey Poteet and Wife, Kelsey; Several Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Patricia Stanley, and Toni Burkhart and Husband, Bill; Brother, Melvin Enix; Her LaFollette First Baptist Church Family; Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services Monday, November 22, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at LaFollette First Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Fischbach and Dr. Duane Mills officiating.  Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Monday before funeral services. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: LaFollette First Baptist Church, 255 West Central Ave., LaFollette, TN 37766.

  1. The best neighbors anyone could ask for. Donna and Arnold became like family last summer. We are better people for knowing Donna and her cheesecake was out of this world.
