Mr. James Virgil Kidwell, age 70 passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021.  Virgil was the eldest of four children born to Odes and Mary Kidwell who preceded him in death.  Virgil did what so few do as he was a frequent candidate for a wide variety of political offices.   Although not elected to any office, he believed in giving his fellow citizens a choice when only one candidate was listed for an office.  He was not hesitant to talk to anyone about anything and he used that ability while campaigning.  Virgil had for many years a weekly preaching program on WLAF 1450 television.  His broadcast included singing, music, and his message.  Virgil was full of life and no one was a stranger to him.  He is greatly missed.

He leaves behind his twin sisters, Nola K. Harris and Nona K. Freeman and husband, Martin; younger Brother, Joe Kidwell; Aunts Hazel Kidwell and Lillie Kidwell; several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins remain.

A private gathering at the Locust Stump Cemetery is being planned for a later date.
