Dan Stouffer, age 77 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday November 24 2021. He was born December 12, 1943 to Howard and Betty Stouffer in Columbus Ohio. Stories told of how mischievous he was as a child and teenager but soon became a carpenter by trade alongside his dad. This became his way of life until going to tool and die school, graduating, and taking on a job with a tool and die company. After a few years a decision to leave Ohio was made and he moved to Tennessee in 1979 with his family, where he started a construction business with his dad. He was a jack of all trades and a master of everything. After years of construction he took on a job at Masco in Jacksboro, TN where he worked for 35 years through all its changes until his retirement in 2011. He enjoyed his family, grand, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors the most. Preceded in death by father Howard Stouffer, brother-in-law Leon Fullock.

  1. Sorry to hear of Dan’s passing and our prayers go out to the family. We went to church with Dan a number of years, enjoyed going to Dollywood with him in our church group. He did work for us, he and his dad both. Very nice work and made everything perfect. Dan was a very fine person and will be missed.
