JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – On Tuesday, Deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office planned a pre-holiday roundup for men and women who have violated their probation.  Law enforcement officers throughout the department worked together to identify, locate, and arrest offenders. Four of the five offenders rounded up are spending Thanksgiving in the Campbell County Jail.

Sheriff Robbie Goins led the roundup and said that “probation is a privilege given to offenders with hopes of giving them a second chance.  We always hope that someone on probation will stop committing crimes and be productive members of our community.  If they continue to break the law, they need to be ready to face justice.  The Sheriff’s Office will do everything we can to keep our community safe and keep drugs off our streets – especially during the holiday season.”

Those arrested include:

Sonya Kay Brotherton for Violation of Probation
Brandon Albert Robinson for Violation of Probation
Lowell Wayne Ladd for Violation of Probation, Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Schedule III (Suboxone)
Edward John Robinson for Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (Heroin)
Brent Allen Goins for Violation of Probation, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)

There was no bond set for four of the five parole violators. However, Edward John Robinson is free on bond. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/24/2021-4PM)
