Stephen “Steve” Clark Pierce, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2021. He was a loving husband of 28 years, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and his faithful dog “Patches.” He loved hunting, fishing, camping and anything to do with the outdoors. He enjoyed “just piddling.”

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James Riley Pierce and Loretta Zink Baird; brothers, Danny Boy Pierce, Charlie Pierce, Eugene Pierce, and Robert Pierce; sisters, Norene Brill and Lois Kehr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Clara Pierce; son, Stephen Pierce, II and wife Lisa; daughters, Brandy Parker and husband Steve of Knoxville, Amber Jordan and husband Ronnie of Corbin, KY; brothers, Jimmy Pierce and wife Donna of Elk Valley, Arlie Pierce and wife Agnes of Fayetteville; sisters, Janice Huddleston and husband Billy of White Oak, Judy Dewitt of Jacksboro, Sharon Hayes and husband Danny of Fayetteville, Wanda Strevel and husband Herb of Virginia. Ten Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday November 28, 2021, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Agnes Pierce officiating. The family will meet at 10:15 AM on Monday November 29, 2021, at the funeral home and go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for a 11 AM interment.
