Here is an image of the courthouse annex as construction moves forward, Concrete floors were poured with plumbing and electrical rough ins run.  Exterior and interior walls are going up.

“The building will include 10 offices. We’ll finally have all of our detectives under the same roof to go along with an interview room as well as a place to do our training. We’re doing 99 percent of our training now in-house,” said Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins at the Aug. 31 groundbreaking.

State Sen. Ken Yager said that “good things happen when people work together” after it was announced that local, state and federal dollars are helping make the new facility a reality.

Additionally, annexes for the trustee and clerk’s offices will be a part of the new facility. For citizens, it means they’ll soon be able to just drive up to do business with Trustee Monty Bullock or County Clerk Alene Baird. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/29/2021-6AM)
