One person was injured in this single-vehicle accident.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A Campbell County man was injured just after 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon when his red Ford pick-up truck rammed into a utility pole on West Central Avenue in front of the First Baptist Church. Watch the wreck unfold from the Ben Rogers Building camera HERE and HERE and HERE.

An eye witness said she barely missed being hit by the truck. She went on to say that she was traveling toward La Follette, and the truck was Jacksboro bound when it veered across the east bound lanes and hit the pole.

First Responders are tending to a man who was injured when his truck hit this utility pole. The man is laying to the left in the front yard of the First Baptist Church.

The driver of the truck told First Responder Eddie Hatmaker, La Follette Assistant Fire Chief, that he must have blacked out. Hatmaker was the first First Responder on the scene soon followed by Campbell County Sheriff, La Follette Police, La Follette Fire and Campbell County EMS units.
