LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – While on patrol late last Thursday, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Preston Mullins saw a familiar black Ford F150.

Mullins recognized the pick-up truck from an earlier traffic stop where he had arrested the driver, Rhonda Gayle Poston, and released the vehicle to her daughter. A check of the driver’s status revealed Poston did not have a valid driver’s license. It was revoked for a 2020 DUI (driving under the influence), according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

The deputy stopped the Ford on the four lane in front of the Rainbow Restaurant and made contact with Poston. She was placed into custody and a check of warrants revealed an active violation of probation warrant from general sessions court.

Poston, 42, 1116 Glade Springs Rd, LaFollette was charged with driving while revoked. Based on jail records, this was the 22nd time Poston has been arrested. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/10/2021-6AM)
