Wlaf1450Bobby Gene Prewitt, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday December 12, 2021. He was a loving husband of 56 years that enjoyed spending time with his family, helping with the church functions and an active member of the Gideons. He also enjoyed working with woodworking vases, bowls, and carousels with exotic woods. He was an avid farmer that enjoyed spending time working with his cattle.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Burrel and Mary Francis Hart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Prewitt; brother, Dale Prewitt of Speedwell; sister Dorothy Quillen and husband Bill of Lakeland, Florida.
Visitation will be Wednesday December 15, 2021, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Pastor Steve Ross and Rev. Mark Partin officiating. The family will meet at 10:15 AM on Thursday December 16, 2021, at the funeral home and go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for a 11 AM interment.
