“Having a food drive benefit Open Arms Ministry ties back in with my CASA program and helps the community,” Jones said.

The food drive began in mid November.  A total of 18 local businesses volunteered to set up food donation boxes at their locations and Campbell County citizens didn’t disappoint.

Jones and CASA volunteers, as well as several students from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology unloaded 22 boxes of food on Wednesday. Several citizens had also made monetary donations in the amount of $119 which was also presented to Open Arms Ministry.
