LFD Firefighters battled heavy smoke at this Wednesday morning house fire.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette Fire Department’s “A” Shift was called out to a house fire just before 4:30am on this morning.

Thick smoke was pouring out of the frame structure when WLAF News arrived on the scene. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control all the while dealing with heavy smoke with temperatures in the 30s. Exhaust fans were turned on around 5am.

LFD’s “A” Shift fought the predawn house fire.

No injuries were reported though an ambulance from Campbell County EMS was on scene as a precaution.

Neighbors came out on their front porches to see what was happening.
