JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell Cougars three game series with Scott included a last second loss, a 22-point gap, and a tough home loss on Tuesday at Brown Gym snapped a three game winning streak. In the two girls meetings, Campbell won both times. Last night Campbell fell 72-60 with the Lady Cougars winning 50-38. Watch the games on demand HERE.

The Lady Cougars were led in scoring by Lacey Pemberton with 14 along with 11 from Carley Kitts as Karlie Whited talled eight followed by six each from Cora Browning and Bailey Gillum. Saylor Hutcheson scored three points and Bella Lester had two. Emma Brandenburg played and did not score.

Nate Walden’s 19 points and Zac Brady’s 17 topped the individual scoring for the Cougars. Spencer Boshears scored nine, John Long eight and Devin Jones seven. Bryson Horton, Jack Leach and Will Lester all saw playing time and did not put up any points.

District action resumes on Friday at Fountain City against Central. The Cougars are 0 & 2 in district games while the Lady Cougars are 0 & 2. In all games, the Cougars are 6 & 8, and the Lady Cougars are 11 & 2 in all games.
