LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – After Thursday’s snow that began falling soon after 11am is gone by about 9pm tonight, much, much colder air moves in sending temperatures down to 10-degrees. Wind chills will hover around zero. Additionally, slippery spots abound with black ice that will linger into Saturday.

The Winter Weather Warning expires Friday at 1am. Later in the day, Friday brings a sunny, brisk day with wind chills in the single-digits and a high of 29. A low of 13 is expected Friday night before we go above freezing on Saturday to 43 under a sunny sky. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/06/2022-5PM)
