JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell returns to action tonight on Brown Court playing the first of five straight home games beginning with the Powell Panthers. The JV Cougars open the triple header at 4:30pm followed by the Lady Cougars at 6 and the Cougars in the night cap at 7:30pm. The top two teams in District 3-AAAA, Campbell and Powell, will try to remain unbeaten as both are 2 & 0 in the league. One of Powell’s wins came over Oak Ridge. Overall, Powell is 13 & 2, and Campbell is 11 & 3.
Common opponents for the girls teams are Oneida, West, Scott and Maryville. Both Powell and Campbell have won in all meetings with Oneida, West and Scott. Each has a loss to Maryville.
The 0 & 2 Cougars aim for their first district win while Powell is 1 & 1. In all games, Powell is 6 & 9, and Campbell has a 6 & 8 worksheet.
Scott and West are common opponents for the boys teams. Powell is one and two versus Scott with a win over West. Campbell is oh and three versus Scott and has a loss to West.
