LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Kyla Faye Martin Rowland, the valley girl who was known worldwide as a prayer warrior, beloved Southern Gospel song writer, author and speaker, passed away Wednesday morning at her home at Morristown.
WLAF radio is where listeners have enjoyed hearing Kyla Faye Rowland’s songs and songs written by her performed by her son Barry Rowland and other performers. The 1963 graduate of La Follette High School’s cousin and fellow musician David Shepherd took time to share stories of Kyla Faye with WLAF’s Big Josh Etter and Jim Freeman on Thursday morning over WLAF. Funeral Services for Kyla Faye Martin Rowland are Saturday (01/15/2022) at 12:30pm at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church on 604 South Indiana Avenue in La Follette. There will not be a visitation, and the interment will be private. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/14/2022-6AM)
