LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The LaFollette Library held a luncheon on Friday in honor of being chosen as the Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for January.
Several Community leaders attended the event at the library for the presentation, including State Representative Dennis Powers, County Mayor E.L. Morton, LaFollette Mayor Phillip Farmer, representatives from the district attorney’s office and others.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Missy Tackett made the presentation to Librarian Nancy Green.
Green said she was extremely “humbled by this honor.”
Recent Campbell County Volunteer of the Year recipient Brandon Johnson spoke on the positive impact the library and Nancy have on the community.
“Campbell County would not be what it is without the leadership of Nancy Green and this library,” Johnson said.
Green said she was honored to have the library chosen for the award.
“We are so thankful for the LaFollette Library and Nancy Green and all they do for the community,” Tackett said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/17/2022-6AM)
