LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Doris Sharp’s warm smile was working overtime on the final day of her 50-year banking career. Her career spans three banks, Peoples Bank of the South, First National Bank of La Follette and Community Trust Bank with the longest run with FNB/CTB being 30 years.

A celebration for the popular teller with Community Trust Bank was held at noon today as well wishers came from near and far to say thank you and so long.

    She went out of her way to help me and my Dad with financial issues.

  4. Doris and I graduated from LHS together back in 1971. She is one of the nicest, kindest ladies in our county. I know she will be missed by her colleagues and customers, but I hope she has a great retirement – she deserves it. Congratulations, Doris!
